Butter Chicken
Ingredients Of Butter Chicken
1 Kg. chicken drumsticks/ thighs/ sliced breast pieces
1 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. garlic paste
1 cup yogurt or buttermilk (Dahi)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tomato puree
100 Gram butter
3 tsp. chilli powder
6 cardamoms (Chhoti Elaichi)
6 cloves (Laung)
4 sticks cinnamon (Dalchini)
3 tsp. salt or to taste
How To Make Butter Chicken-
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Fry the garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cardamoms, and cloves on medium low heat, after a minute add the chicken with the yogurt (Dahi), sour cream, chilli powder,tomato puree and salt. Cook on low heat, for half an hour, stirring occasionally and keep the saucepan covered. Add butter before serving.
